Services provided: Comprehensive media coverage, including photography, videography, and promotional material design for post-event.
The event was to feature music and folk dance performances, and vendors providing authentic Colombian and other Latin-American foods.
CPS reached out to Magu, looking for a local, and preferably, Colombian-owned company to cover the event through photography and video footage, so that the Sudbury population could experience it even if they were not in attendance. They were also looking for digital assets related to the event to use for the promotion of future events within the community.
Magu embraced this opportunity as a proud cross-cultural marketing and visual communications firm. Our approach included covering the logistics beforehand, capturing everything within the event, and a recap afterward. We were able to capture hours of video and photography, sharing live updates in the CPS Instagram stories, as we narrated what was happening, interviewing vendors and sponsoring businesses, and showcasing their products and⁄or services. We created digital assets using event photos and footage which became short story videos, title images and other promotional content.
Finally, we produced an Instagram video which highlighted the best moments of the event, set with Latin background music that made you want to dance and wish you were there. The final video was engaging, fun, and dynamic.
